The beginning of a conversation about sexism, misogyny, and feminism in Ceramics.
Potters, Sunshine Cobb and Ayumi Horie, have joined forces to begin a conversation about how we can address sexism and misogyny in the ceramics field to work toward gender equality. We have all heard too many stories of women, trans, and non-binary folx being diminished, sexually harrassed and sexually assaulted. It’s time to change the culture of ceramics and ensure policies are in place to protect everyone, so that studios are safe and joyful places to make work for everyone.
